Car cost indexation
In order to be able to better manage and control your budget, it is necessary to measure this from time to time against an index reflecting the car costs. Because this exercise can not be executed using the usual indexes, like the health index or the average index, Arval developed a car costs index for you.
Based on a representative selection of cars, this car costs index measures the evolution of the car costs.
In this, the following components are included:
• list price
• residual value
• taxes
• repair and maintenance
• tyres
• interest
• insurance
• replacement vehicle
• road side assistance
• fuel prices
