The federal authorities have taken the excellent initiative to set up a website to inform us about CO2 emissions and everything related to the burden on our environment in general.

Part of this site is dedicated to vehicles and their CO2 emissions. On www.energivores.be/auto (only available in Dutch and French), you will find the 2008-2009 version of the « CO2 car guide » containing a list of all commercial vehicles on the Belgian market and their respective CO2 emissions.

For drivers, it will prove very useful when choosing an environmentally friendly vehicle.
For fleet managers, it is essential to reduce the total CO2 emissions of their fleet. This will result in a number of savings, both on the level of CO2 taxes and on the percentage of tax deductibility related to the CO2 emissions of each vehicle.
