Modification of the company cars' taxation
Within the 2010 - 2011 budget, the federal government decided to modify the company cars' taxation.
On tuesday 15th december 2009 the program-law concerning these changes was approved by the Chamber.
The modifications in the taxation, which become effective on January 1, 2010, are related to 3 areas:
1. the fiscal deductibility for company cars
2. the fiscal deductibility for fuel expenses
3. the benefit in kind for the drivers
It only concerns personal cars and not utility vehicles (company vehicles).
