Eco driving
![]() |
Driving unavoidably means polluting. Fortunately, there are cars available today that contain environmentally-friendly technologies (eco-label). By means of these technologies, but above all by modifying their driving behaviour, drivers can have a huge influence on fuel consumption and therefore CO2 emissions. |
Training specifically focused on environmentally-conscious and defensive driving (eco-driving) has undoubtedly had an impact on driving behaviour. It is primarily a question of changing habits. You can find lots of easy-to-follow advice in the ‘eco driving tips’ section.
You can also take an eco-driving course. During this half-day’s training, you learn about eco-driving tips both in theory and in practice. The training starts with a circuit in a car fitted with measuring equipment and measures your current driving behaviour. The theory behind the eco-driving tips is then explained, following which you are coached by an instructor as you drive along the same circuit.
Arval works with Key Driving Competences to deliver this training. The course costs around EUR 200 per person.
