Are you considering entering into an operational lease agreement, but you would first like to read some more information about the insurances offered by Arval?
We fully understand! We have summarised all the necessary information for you below, so that you can take out your insurance contract with peace of mind.

Insurances via Arval
Within the scope of an operational lease agreement, it is a legal obligation to take out a third-party liability insurance (TPL insurance) for the vehicle during the entire term of the Lease agreement.
A legal assistance insurance and a driver insurance for the vehicle are optional.
Arval will be happy to help you take out these insurances with our insurance partners. More information about Arval as an ancillary insurance intermediary can be found here.
You are not obliged to arrange the insurance through us. You may enter into these insurance contracts with the insurance company of your choice.
If you do not wish to take out the insurance with Arval, we will ask you to provide us with the necessary evidence. As the vehicle is the property of Arval, we want to be sure that the necessary insurance guarantees have been taken out.

Third-party liability insurance
A third-party liability insurance (TPL insurance) is a statutory insurance which covers damages caused to third parties in case of an accident.
A third-party liability insurance can be arranged in your name and on your behalf with the insurer Greenval Insurance DAC.

Driver insurance
The driver insurance with Greenval Insurance DAC covers the physical injuries of the driver in the event of an accident.
A driver insurance can be arranged in your name and on your behalf with the insurer Greenval Insurance DAC.

Legal assistance insurance
A legal assistance insurance with Euromex NV/SA insures adequate defence of the interests of the driver in case of an accident or traffic violation.
A legal assistance insurance can be arranged in your name and on your behalf with the insurer Euromex NV/SA.
If you do not wish to take out this insurance, it is possible that your interests will not be adequately defended.

General information about Arval
The limited company Arval Belgium, with its registered offices at Ikaroslaan 99 in 1930 Zaventem, is registered under company number 0436.781.102 and is active as an ancillary insurance intermediary.
In addition to this offering of insurances Arval provides a solution in the case of damages to the vehicle. In case of damages to or theft of the vehicle Arval will take charge of costs within the confines of the conditions of the Perfecta service. In some cases a fixed amount (own risk) may be charged to the lessee.
