How to order with Private Lease
The simplicity of Private Leasing starts with the ordering process.
Step 1. Select and configure your vehicle online
In our range, you can choose from different brands. You will find small city cars, larger cars and SUVs. Depending on the model, you can also choose from a range of colours. Choose a contract period of between 25 and 60 months, set the annual mileage alllowance and choose the service package that best fits your needs. If you wish, you can also send us a dealer quotation, and we will prepare a tailor-made leasing proposal.
Step 2. An Arval Mobility Expert will contact you
After confirming your request, one of our Arval Mobility experts will contact you as soon as possible to work out all the details and provide you with the pre-contractual information and a quote.
Step 3. Credit check and Know Your Customer (identity) check
In order to complete and process your request, we ask you to download and return some documents using the web form.
- The signed quote (all pages completed and signed)
- General terms and conditions (each page initialled, and a signature at the end)
- A copy of your identity card (front and back)
- You must have a valid identity card and be resident in Belgium
- A copy of your driving licence (front and back)
- A copy of your last payslip
- Your payslip for the month prior to the application
- A completed and signed SEPA payment instruction
Are you retired? In that case, instead of a payslip, we will ask you for a bank statement proving that your retirement pension is being paid, and for a certificate of residence that you can easily obtain from your municipality.
Are you receiving benefits from a health insurance fund? In that case we will ask you instead for a benefits certificate showing your percentage incapacity for work and the monthly amount you receive
Are you self-employed (one-person business)? In that case, instead of a payslip, we will ask you for an extract from the Trade Register and a recent bank statement. If we need additional documents, we will let you know
Step 4. Documents check
Once you have signed the proposal and returned it via the web form, we will deem that you accepted the proposal as a valid contract.
We will check whether your identity card is still valid, whether you actually live in Belgium and whether you have sufficient income to lease the car of your choice.
If we are unable to answer your application positively, we will let you know by phone or email.
Step 5. Your car is ordered and delivered
Your application has now been approved? Congratulations and welcome to Private Leasing. Your vehicle is ordered from the dealer. When it will be delivered depends mainly on the marque and model. You can always ask the dealer for more information. As soon as the car is ready for you to pick up, they will call you to arrange a handover appointment with you.
