Even in the smallest segments, 8 out of 10 orders are for fully electric vehicles

Around 9 out of 10 company vehicles ordered in 2025 through mobility solutions company Arval are fully electric. Electrification has also made significant inroads into the small vehicle segment, as shown by last year's top 10. Kia's EV3, BMW's iX1 and Skoda's Elroq occupy the top three spots. "As expected, small electric SUVs proved to be the most popular in 2025," says Christophe Janssen, Arval Mobility Observatory Belgium.

Smaller electric cars lead the top 10 most ordered company cars for the first time

For the first time, two smaller electric vehicles (BEVs) top the list of the 10 most ordered company cars according to leasing company and mobility solutions provider Arval. In the first half of 2025, the Kia EV3 and the Skoda Elroq were the most popular cars. At the same time, Tesla's Model Y and Model 3 have disappeared after several years from the top 10.

Belgian businesses maintain confidence in the prospects of their corporate car fleets

Nearly nine out of ten Belgian companies (87%) expect the size of their company car fleet to remain steady or even increase over the next three years. SMEs, however, are more guarded: 10% now plan to scale back their fleet, up from only 3% last year. Smaller players nonetheless support adding used vehicles. These figures come from the annual “Mobility and Fleet” Barometer issued by the Arval Mobility Observatory, Arval’s research hub for mobility solutions.
