Bertrand Gousset appointed new top executive of Arval Belgium
Arval, the leading player in car leasing and sustainable mobility solutions, has announced the appointment of Bertrand Gousset as the new General Manager of Arval Belgium. He succeeds Dan Boiangiu who takes on a new role within the Arval Group as Arval Consulting & Mobility Observatory Director.
Bertrand Gousset officially took up his position on July 1, 2025. Until recently he was the Director of Global Operations at Arval Group, where he was responsible for the group's operational processes since 2022. He began his career in France in 1990 at BNP Paribas – the parent company above Arval - where he was active in various departments, including BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and also ‘la Banque de détail’.
Since 2018, Bertrand Gousset has been working within the Arval Group. At Arval, he played a key role in optimizing international operations and developing innovative solutions for customers in a rapidly evolving mobility landscape. With his in-depth knowledge of both the leasing market and Arval's strategic objectives, Bertrand Gousset is ideally placed to continue Arval Belgium's success story.

Bertrand Gousset is an engineer by training, graduated in 1989 from Supélec (École Supérieure d'Electricité, Paris) and has a master's degree in international finance from the HEC (École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Paris).
